In 2012, Meltwater, developers of automated marketing and PR solutions, commissioned me to build a six page mini-site to replace the existing careers page on their corporate website. They wanted it to reflect the company’s culture and values and to be a hub to attract and capture qualified applicants—focused on sales, their primary hiring category, and candidates in their 20’s, their primary applicants.
I met with key stakeholders, C-class executives and the VP of human resources, and interviewed members of Meltwater’s sales staff to better understand culture and develop a target persona for users of the new site. This information drove all information architecture, image selection and copy writing.
